Apple Crisp


5 tart apples, cored and chopped.  Peeled if desired.

​½ cup butter
1 cup ​cup brown sugar
1 tsp. each, cinnamon, ground ginger and nutmeg
¾ cup oatmeal 
​¾ cup unbleached flour

Arrange chopped apples into greased 9 inch baking pan.
Spread ​butter mixture over apples. Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes.
