Baked Beans
(Cooked in the slow cooker)


1 bag dried Great Northern Beans, rinsed
½ onion, chopped
1 pkg salt pork, chopped
½ bottle chili sauce
½ cup molasses
1 tbsp cider vinegar
2 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp sea salt and pepper
½ cup brown sugar

In large sauce pan, cover beans with 12 cups water. Let stand overnight.
​Drain beans, cover again with water and bring to a boil. Cover and
​simmer for 30 minutes. Drain beans and place onion, salt pork,
chili sauce, molasses, cider vinegar, dry mustard, sea salt, pepper, 
and brown sugar in slow cooker and cook for 6 hours.
