Banana Spice Cookies
½ cup butter
2 ¼ cups whole wheat flour
1 cup organic sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp ground cloves
3 very ripe bananas, mashed
1 tsp baking powder
In a large bowl, beat butter on medium for 1 minute.
Add 1 cup flour, sugar, eggs, baking powder, vanilla,
cinnamon, baking soda and cloves. Beat until thoroughly
combined. Stir in remaining flour. Beat in bananas. Drop
by tablespoon on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375° F
For 10 minutes. Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
