Olive oil3 cloves of garlic1 white onion, choppeddesired peppers
hamburger3 to 4 cans tomato soup1-3 carrots, choppedcorn, if desired
1 can pinto beans or 1 cup dried pinto beans* 1 can garbanzo beans or 1
cup dried garbanzo beans* 1 can red kidney beans or 1 cup dried red
*boil dry beans in water for 30 minutes, then drain Can omit meat and add more assorted beans, if
desired.1 tsp sea salt, freshly ground pepper, ground cumin, coriander,
cayenne pepper, crushed chillies, parsley and chives½ tsp paprika and Tabasco
sauce2 tbsp. chili powdercan lessen the amount of spices if you don't
want spicy chili or can add more if spicier chili is wanted.In large
pot, heat oil. Cook garlic, onion and for a few minutes. Add
desired amount of
hamburger. Cook until hamburger is nearly brown.
Stir in tomato soup and ½ the
amount of water. Stir in carrots, corn,
peppers and beans. Add spices.
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for a few hours
It tastes even better after being refrigerated and
eaten the next day. Sprinkle
cheese on top if desired. Can serve
with buns, butter and/ salad. Enjoy!Be careful when using a glass stove-top. Chili will burn. Take chili
burner for an hour then return to element and simmer for awhile.
Keep a close
eye on it and stir often. We just bought a new stove,
