                                  Eensy, Weensy Spider

The eensey, weensey spider went up the waterspout.
Use your thumbs and index fingers to mimic the movement of a spider crawling upward.
Down came the rain and washed the spider out.
Use fingers to show rain and washing out the spider.
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain
Use hands to show sun high up in the air.
And the eensey, weensey spider went up the spout again.
Use your thumbs and index fingers to mimic the movement of a spider crawling upward, again.
Using a deep voice:
The BIG, FAT SPIDER climbed up the waterspout.
Roughly and loudly swish hands, vertically, upward.
Down came the rain and washed the spider out.
Use fingers to show rain and washing out the spider, but this time mimic a heavy rain.
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain.
Big sun. Spread arms fingers wide.
And that BIG, FAT SPIDER climbed up the spout again.
Roughly and loudly swish hands, vertically, upward, again.
Using a high, soft, squeaky voice:
The little baby spider went up the waterspout.
What is cute and truly makes the children laugh are your fingers mimicking a teeny, tiny spider climbing and falling a few times, since it's just a baby. Even making noises, like “oofff”, as the spider falls is hilarious to the children.
Down came the rain and washed the spider out.
Tiny, soft rain.
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain.
Small sun.
And the little, baby spider went up the spout again
Small spider challenge, again.
