Veggies and Fruit
Morning Shakes
          For 2-3 people

1 cup, each frozen blueberries and strawberries, slightly
​thawed (for the longevity of your blender)
1 banana
peach and kiwi fruit slices
¼ cup of ground Flax seed (can grind whole Flax
​seed with a coffee grinder)
½ cup pure apple juice
¼ cup rice milk
¼ yogurt

Blend in the blender for a few minutes.

What I’ve done is place the frozen berries in the blender when I first wake
​up. Once I’ve done my workout and have showered, the berries have
​thawed enough to be safe in the blender. If you’d rather blend your shake
​while the berries are frozen you can but you’ll find your blender won’t
​last that long if you do. Unless of course you have a really expensive one
​that can handle that kind of abuse.
