My son's name is Scott.  Many years ago, he came to preschool with me three times a week. When I was trying to help him to identify and know his name and other children with 5 letters to their name. I would write the letters on the board. We would first sing 'BINGO' with the word on the board. Erasing each letter as we omitted singing them. Then we would sing, “There was a mom who had a boy and Scott was his name oh. S-C-O-T-T.

S-C-O-T-T. S-C-O-T-T and Scott was his name oh. You can do this with longer names too but you have to sing quickly sometimes. It can get very humorous.
