O' Brownies
12 oz bitter sweet chocolate, chopped
1 cup organic butter
3 eggs
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup apple sauce
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
Grease 2 square baking dishes. Line dishes with wax or
parchment paper. Grease again with butter. Melt chocolate,
over low heat, with butter. In large bowl, beat eggs. Add brown
sugar and apple sauce. Alternate chocolate mixture and flour
with baking powder. Mix well and pour into baking dishes. Sprinkle
in nuts, if desired. Bake at 325° F.
