Overnight Breakfast
6 cups bread, cut into ½ inch cubes
2 cups grated marble cheese
1 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled
½ green pepper, chopped
¼ cup green onions, chopped
4 cups milk
6 eggs
1 tsp each, dry mustard, salt, pepper, cilantro, parsley, tarragon,
and cardamom
Grease a large (in depth and size) roasting pan. Spread half of bread cubes
in bottom. Scatter the cheese, bacon green pepper and green onion over the
bread. Cover with the remaining bread cubes.
Beat the eggs, milk, dry mustard and spices. Pour evenly over bread cubes.
Cover with saran wrap and refrigerate overnight.
Bake, uncovered, at 300° for 90 minutes.
