Seafood Lasagna


3 tbsp butter
¼ cup flour
½ cup cold water
6-10 cloves garlic, chopped/minced
1 cup whipping cream
1 cup chicken broth
1 tsp each: lemon pepper, white pepper, freshly ground pepper, basil,
​and parsley
½ tsp crushed chilies
2-3 green onions, chopped
1 ½ cups shrimp, canned or frozen, rinsed
2 cans crab meat, rinsed

In a small bowl, whisk together flour and water. Heat butter and garlic
​in medium saucepan. Stir in flour mixture, chicken broth and whipping
​cream. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to medium. Add spices, green
​onions, shrimp and crab. Stir. Cook for about 10 minutes.

½ of a green pepper, chopped/sliced
3 mushrooms, sliced
1 bacon strip, precooked and broke into pieces or real bacon bits
1 cup Gouda cheese, grated
½ a brick of mozzarella cheese, grated
mini lasagna noodles, uncooked

In casserole dish, pour a bit of sauce; line with uncooked lasagna noodles.
​Pour a bit of sauce over the noodles. Put half of the peppers, mushrooms
​and bacon over sauce. Sprinkle half of the cheese over that. Repeat layering
​process again. Cover and cook at 375° F for 1 hour. Let cool for 15 minutes.
​The sauce will cook the noodles in the oven and the noodles will have a wonderful

Suggestion: Double ingredients if cooking for more than 3 or 4 people.
